For the sake of balance and equality, I will put myself in a neutral stand point with the focus on the broader aspects of our present economic status. I’m personally in agreement with most economist that the future for our country is brighter in the Duterte administration. I will base my opinion on my own accounts as a Filipino and a current resident of the Philippines. There is no doubt that the current safety situation has markedly improved than the past few administrations. The confidence and respect for PNP and AFP personnel has been restored to its former glory. The government’s drive for progressive key agendas on accelerated and improved infrastructures, inclusive economic growth, revisions on tax reforms, Pro PPP status, proactive peace talks, and aggressive promotion of micro-small enterprise are encouraging.
We as Filipino and residence here see and experience the true picture of what was portrayed as grim in the international scene. It might be that the international audience are misinformed by various Media outfits or dubious forces sensationalizing misleading news for a buck or two. Yet these misleading news are sabotaging our Economic Growth and Potential.
Philippines’ present macro-fundamental state is outstanding so please let’s not toy with the President’s Political Capital in defiance.
Naïve as it sounds, I personally believe in the common good of AFP and PNP personnel as human beings in the pursuit of justice and service of the Law. I believe it’s about time to give them and the President the benefit of the doubt until proven guilty. I believe it’s worth a shot to give the Duterte a chance.
Let’s focus on building a tiger economy rather than destroying each other by insurrection due to political belief and affiliations. Let’s work together and get those nationalistic juice flowing for the sake of only beloved country.
