Innovation often defies what is conventional. Conventional defier is hard to be promoted to senior management. Senior management has the talent to push innovation sustainable. Most of the time best ideas come from the base employee or junior management. Innovation is actually a group work rather than a solo performance.
The key to innovation is making a great idea than turning it into something useful. It will take the whole team to select, implement, sustain, and diffuse the work innovation into action. This can not happen without the support of senior management.
