In a Market that is full of volatility, you can always count on Dividend play as a good option. Dividend Yield = dividend / stock price. If you put together your dividend yield with your gains from stock price, it is a good arsenal for compounding your stock investment
In my personal strategy, I considered some factors that are prerequisite in my stock picking. They are:
1. the stock should be from a reputable company with a profitable upside potential
2. Company must be consistent in yearly dividend payouts
3. The higher the dividend yield the better
4. Free money is free money
