Philippine Stock dipped due to Italian Crisis

Dear subscriber,

Last week's volatility in the market was a bit crazy. PSE dipped below the 7500. A sudden baseless downturn for all the stocks in the PSE. What caused it?

its called Market sentiments. Foreign investors pulled out all their investment on global equities not only the Philippine Equities.

Why?

Sudden Global uncertainty due to the political Instability and crisis in Italy. The president Sergio Mattarella recently vetoed the appointment of EU skeptic financial minister Paolo Savona. Consequently, the president's action resulted in calls of impeachment.

This event is far from the Philippine yet a global knee-jerk reaction occurred without fundamental basis. Keep your cool and remove your itchy trigger finger from the sell button. Don't let your emotion be your stock guide.

We at Smart Money Pinoy are expecting a lot of key game-changing events:

1. Exporting cheaper oil from Russia.

2. Signed agreements with South Korea.

3. Possible Oil depot in Cebu

4. Philippine's Nickle mining industry benefiting from U.S.sanctioning higher tariff of trade partners like Mexico

We have to learn to manage not just local but also global market expectations to survive the Stock Market.

Good luck and God Bless
